I don't have a great report. Caught 5 blacks by the end of the day. One of them was a good size. Odd thing was none of them were caught on the bottom. All 5 were about 15-20 feet down. Highlight of the day was meeting fellow NCKA Bushy. Good guy.

Glad you caught some fish. It was rough out there yesterday. I was the other kayak out that you heard talking to Bushy. I went out in front of the light house. I caught 3 lings and a cabi all of which were released.  Jarod

Blues and blacks seem to move around in the water column quite a bit, especially if there's kelp nearby. I've thrown plastics from shore and had blues hit them topwater-style. Pretty fun.
