5/27 in sc. Slow day for me

I don't have a great report. Caught 5 blacks by the end of the day. One of them was a good size. Odd thing was none of them were caught on the bottom. All 5 were about 15-20 feet down. Highlight of the day was meeting fellow NCKA Bushy. Good guy.

Glad you caught some fish. It was rough out there yesterday. I was the other kayak out that you heard talking to Bushy. I went out in front of the light house. I caught 3 lings and a cabi all of which were released.  Jarod

No such thing as a bad report!  Possibly high pressure keeping the blacks down? Looks to be lowering all week... Anyway, thanks for sharing!

Blues and blacks seem to move around in the water column quite a bit, especially if there's kelp nearby. I've thrown plastics from shore and had blues hit them topwater-style. Pretty fun.
