Launched out of OC at 7:00 am monday morning. Stoked I finally got to take my gopro out on the maiden voyage.Water was a lot calmer then NOAA and Magicseaweed predicted. We headed south and stop at a few reefs on our way to the dive spot and picked up the great morning bite. Pretty solid action for 3 guys with a total of 6 lings, 5 blacks,5 china, 5 gopher, 2 greenling, and 1 chunky cabezon.
We ended up in the water around 10:30-11 diving for abalone. Good to see the solid amount of abs starting to filter back into the swallow waters. First dive spotted abs in 15 FOW, ended up scouting the cove out and a grabbing a quick limit. Afternoon bite never turned on after the dive so we called it quits and headed for the beer cooler!!!!
