Hey guys... just left REI a little while ago.  Picked up a Garmin Oregon 600 for 219.  Regular price is 399.99.  None of the other models are on sale.  Great deal if you need one.  Sale ends today. They will order for you of they don't have any on hand.

I was just gonna post this.

I paid full price for mine last year. I like it a lot, but it's not very waterproof!

I got it for hunting this fall.  Not planning on taking it on the water.  Any issues with it in the rain?  Have you loaded any maps on it? I need to play with it to figure things out. I'm not very technologically gifted so hopefully it isn't too hard.

It should be fine in the rain. Mine got submerged in my P15 footwell and started to rust inside the battery cover. Everything was closed up nice and tight, too. Still works, though.
