My friend and I are heading out to Oroville early tomorrow. Any tips on where to launch/fish to target bass?

If you promise to leave some fish for me on Monday, take the Stringtown Road on the South Branch of Lake Oroville.  Easy car top launch.  Google Stringtown Bar.  Good luck!

Thanks, looks like we're going to Folsom now. How many bass are you catching there? I here it can be pretty amazing.

Enough to keep me coming back.  I confess, had not fish Oroville since the early 70's until a few weeks ago.  As a matter of fact, had not bass fished since the early 70's.  Can't replace ocean fishing, but still a good excuse to get out on the water.  Good luck on Folsom.

Use wacky rigged Senko worms and you will catch all the spotted bass you want.  Fishing is hot in the 0 to 20 foot range right now.
