I'm glad others have better luck with Lenovo. I've been a long time Windows guy, but there's so much crap (hw/sw) you have to deal with when you use Windows. I finally switched over to Macs.

Those lenovo Ideapad's aren't very good but the thinkpads are a different story. I love my x1 Carbon.

those new Dell xps 13's are damn nice too

Just to record video on a budget? Used laptop with a built in webcam w/ External Terabyte HD. I'm so glad I don't use PCs so much anymore that technology moves so fast n cost $ to stay up to date. I do have a hd webcam if your interested. For a trade.

Seems to me the specs you should be looking for are to match whatever camera your going to use it with, not the software.  They aren't very specific on requirements on the RightBooth website:

Works on:
