Has anybody been fishing there, any good? I heard this is a nice place to kayak, so I'm taking my 10yo kid there on Saturday, wonder if there is any fish there ;)

BTW, there is still one campsite available for this Saturday ;)

Consider this a deep canyon lake. Lots of trees in the water against the banks. Gonna loose some gear to catch fish. weedless senko hooks are your friends :smt044 Bass and trout semi abundant. Good luck!!!
my new name should be Ostridge. Got my head in the sand. Going fishing and letting go of the other stuff I can't control anyway!

Great population of smb and catfish. The trout are really spunky too, I don't know who stocks em or maybe it was a bunch of non planters I caught, but man they are fun.

It was a great trip, though a bit packed! (note for myself - for a trip with kid book at least 2 nights; with traffic it took almost twice to get there, so I only could fish in the morning).

Caught a 17" / 2lb what appears to be Sacramento pikeminnow (never caught one before, so took forever to identify; thanks Fahrenheit840!)

According to couple of locals they 'heard' there is a fish there ;) (and you could clearly see it's there in the evening and morning). But in my case it was the only bite in 4 hrs, and I tried bunch of lures and even powerbait -  I guess just got extremely lucky with that Rapala.

Lake itself is very nice (at least parts with no noisy PB) and nice paddling.
