Hello all. I'm a new convert to kayak fishing and met a fella last week at Lafeyette (Seth Gold) who told me that, as a kayak angler I have to join this group. Hahaha! Anyway, my name is Wil O'Neal and I live in Oakland and I mostly fish at Lafayette, Lake Temescal, Lake Chabot, San Pablo, and in the ocean out of Bodega Bay with my buddies on their 30-feet Parker.

I've taken my Hobie out three times, twice at Lafayette and once at Chabot and I mostly troll for trout. I went out to Chabot today and got skunked trolling while the guys on shore were killing it with Power Bait. Anyway, I'm glad to be here and I look forward to hooking up with some of you out on the lakes.

Wil

Welcome, Wil.  :smt006 Are there still signs at Chabot warning about the algae in the water?

Great intro, Wil.  Welcome to NCKA.   :smt001

When you go out on a flat day on that 30' Parker and see some of us out there you might decide to get some ocean yak time too.
