Hi all--- joined at advice of a nice guy I meet on the banks; his call name "ATD".  He was right- this forum is really great.  Been a floater for years, now my first Kayak (wow, much easier than pontoon boat assembly).  Fish for the fun of fishing- that means targeting trout and bass, really whatever bite is happening in my area.

Welcome to the Madness!  The Largemouth at Clementine are in Pre-spawn mode, which means they are moving up to the shallow areas near coves and around the boat in campground. The smallmouth bite should turn on soon.

Thanks ATD.  I did a run yesterday, bass are not in spawn just yet.  They are pre-spawn, active and the bite was good, but not yet in the shallows and tail fins still pristine for those that I landed.
