I am new in HMB, and would like to know where to fish for live bait in HMB.

Thanks in advance.

U just head outside the harbor.

Or inside the harbor. More specifically the outer harbor area. The last couple years haven't had as much bait inside the harbor, but some years the harbor it's loaded with bait. Just drop the sabiki when you see a bait ball

Always been a fan of trolling a sabiki on the way out.  At least you put a line in the water that way.

The bait last year was pretty thick, but smaller chovies in the 3-4" range, usually towards the beach side in about 30 feet.
