I'm doing a non fishing kayak event at Negro Bar state park in June. I've never been to the area and thought I might try some fishing after the event is over. Anyone familiar with the area? Thanks

go upstream trolling small crank baits in shad color.  turn around at the wire and go back to the folsom blvd. bridge.  repeat.
there are also some bass in the lake, senko, robo or live worms work for them.

Good luck
