Looks like fun guys.  What was the biggest fish of the tournament?

I think the biggest fish was a 18.75" smalli that Eric Sowa caught. I was actually there when he caught it. He relentlessly fished a couple over hanging bushes till she bit. It was awesome to watch the line move left. He took his time waiting for the right moment to set the hook, he handled it like a pro. There was also a big spot in there as well.

I didn't actually get the fight on the go pro but I did get the release. I plan to have a recap and video of some anglers up tomorrow evening. My after effects skills are not what they use to be.

I think it was a great event and peeps had lots of fun.  I'm looking forward to Tahoe.

Rollins definitely lived up to its hype, Lots of Crappie caught! I never seen so much crappie caught in one day, especially at a ncka tourny! It was awesome. I was spending most of my time with the Family but we enjoyed every minute of it. The wx was right, fishing excellent, The campground and sites, Perfect. The sites otw are a must have and really make it much more enjoyable and pleasant. Christina and Santino liked them as well. Overall very impressed with Greenhorn Campgrounds. Thanks Mike for making that Call.

The only fishing I got in all weekend was in the Tin Can with the Fam but it was well appreciated and deserved. Between me and Christina, we caught 6 bass, 1 crappie, 1 bluegill, and a trout in 2 hours of fishing! Pretty good I must say. The yak never touched water! We had Fun and are looking forward to going back. Fishing seemed to be good for most with a mix catch of Mostly bass, second Crappie, and a few trout. The catfish eluded us this week!

Thank You to ALL THE SPONSORS AND HILL FLAT for supporting this event. Big Congrats to ScottV, NVfish Alex, and Ron Weimarian for Taking Top Honors and Getting into the Tournament Of  Champions at the PORT. Next in the Line Up.....Tahoe Salmon Slam.

Ramsey,  awesome attitude! We actually had to also DQ the first place angler. We hate having to DQ folks but you both understood the your errors and were great sports about it. You're a great angler and I expect to see you on the podium again soon. Thanks for taking part in the FreshKATs.com series and see you in Tahoe.

Ken. The winner of the Hobie Kayak was Gary Charles - aka BullShark.

It sucks to be DQ  but anyone who plans on fishing the freshkats.com events need to use these as prime examples of what not to do. I definitely don't wanna DQ anyone. You should be giving yourself plenty of time (30mins) to get your score card filled out and double checking your photos. It ain't a bad day when your DQ and still Win a Kayak Tho..Way to make up for it. See everyone At Tahoe.
