is it leagle to use rock fish for bait?
the only thing i can find on bait fish is on page 27
tilapia may not be used or possessed for use as bait in ocean waters.

Yes. Common use for greenling is to send 'em back down to try for a big ling. They do count against your limit of 10 no matter if you eat them or use them as bait. .

They need to be of legal size so greenling at 12", but rockfish of any size is legal.

I talked to a game warden about that last week about that like the others said...
*must be of legal size, if it Has a size limit-greenling 12 in
* must count toward bag limit
*no talapia
*cannot catch with more than  a 2 hook set  up

If I  am mistaken on any of these , someone please correct me
