Getting New Fishfinder/Gps, want one which displays MLPA boundaries

I want to get a new better quality fish finder with a GPS.  I used an old handheld garmin for my GPS and a separate cheap lowrance FF, but can no longer get maps for it and want to have a single unit.  I hear the chirps units are good.  My  question is how to get a unit with maps which always display the boundaries of off limits or special regs areas like the MLPA off Bodega head.  I spoke to west marine and they don't know anything about it.

You need a chip to plug into the lowrance unit.  The new 2015 chip is just coming out NOW
