I'm going camping/diving at Van Damme this weekend with a bunch of friends, mostly from the Bay Area. Many of my friends are novice divers but would really like to get after some abalone. I'd usually recommend renting gear at Subsurface Progression but they have the Humboldt State Dive Club coming down Friday night to rent gear and they have been known to rent out a majority of the gear, especially in common sizes. I know the Marin Diving Center also rents gear, does anyone know of any other shops, preferably in the east bay that do rentals? Thanks!

Diver Dans in Santa Clara rents gear not East Bay but they should have most of what you need.
