Totally last second decision to go.  I'm going to try to be out there by 9... if not sooner.  I'll be on CH69.

Low tide shows 7:23AM @ 0.2
High tide shows 2:05PM @ 4.6

The only thing that concerns me is the wind...
Windfinder shows (wind speed/wind gusts):  7/10kts @ 8AM, 13/15kts @ 11AM, 14/16kts @ 2PM, 19/23kts @ 5PM

I'll stay out as long as I can, but I doubt I'll be out much past Noon... or at least that far out from shore if the wind holds true.  Hope to see ya out there

No joy. Got on the water late around 10.  Trolled an anchovy until about 1PM. Taking a break while dragging the yak back up to the parking lot.  Wind gusts are definitely picking up.

Some folks on the pier caught some stripers. Oh well... at least I wasn't in the office today.

Thanks for the report, Mark.

I'm going back Wednesday.

In Loving Memory of Mooch, Eelmaster, Shicken, and Cabeza De Martillo

I started kayak fishing to get away from most of you...

There's more folks on the pier than I would have thought for a Monday.

I caught a shorty at ARW a couple weeks ago on a frozen anchovy but that was my first and only... and wasn't a keeper.  It was what I had in the fridge.  Was gonna try a swimbait but the gusts came up so I came in. Good luck!

Well you were right about that wind. It was a steady 20mph unlike yesterdays gusts. My friend was going for halibut though it was just for stripers. He used swim bait and I used anchovies on a halibut rig, mostly for a striper.

Niether of use.got.anything we started around 530. Some guys did though around 6pm. I got a gopro footage, bigger then ours yesterday

Edit: I mean anchovies on a striped bass rig

That's a nice one!  At least they're still out there... makes me think I should've fished from the Pier.  At least I'd be able to have 2 lines in the water.   :smt003
