I fished Pyramid Lake NV on Saturday and Sunday with my friend Fish Junky.  We joined the Fishsniffers for our annual Fest at Pelican Beach.  On Saturday we headed to the north end of the lake at dawn and found the cutthroats wanted to play.   Ken’s Spoons in pink and purple seem to work the best taking the majority of the 19 fish we boated.  The size ran from 17-23 inches and up to 5 pounds.  On Sunday we headed even further up the lake to Monument Rock and found fewer and smaller fish but still did boat 14.  After the fishing on Saturday we enjoyed the feast that happens every year in April as well as October on the beach.  We joined old friends for bear tacos, potato salad  homemade cheese cake and a variety of other good stuff washed down with some “adult beverages”.   Here’s a few photos for your approval…

The WX was amazing.

Junky with a nice one.

Yours truly with a keeper.

This is Pelican Beach where we live and party during the fest.
