Dear NCKA Bruddahs,
I wanted to thank all of you who commented and posted on my thread. I was very touched by all of  the great support and inspiring words.
When I first decided to buy my kayak in 2013, I did not imagine that it would lead to meeting and being part of this great Brother/Sisterhood of incredible kayak anglers. Not only was this a great healthy decision, but I never imagined how moved I have always been every time I paddle out!!
Life is tough sometimes and we all need others to share/give and be supported. I have found that NCKA is way more than just a bunch of guys interested in kayak fishing. It's not about who catches the biggest fish (I have to say when that happens, it's pretty great!!) but having a place to come together and share this incredible experience of being out in the water (lake or ocean) and experiencing this sense of peace and well being.
I now appreciate the added safety value of going out with other brothers and knowing that if something happens, I will not be alone.
Again, Mahalo nui loa for your support and kind words.
