4-6lb. Dr ball will do but then again it depends how deep your fishing, braid or not, and speed. I personally use the heaviest weight I can get away with which is 6lbs. on mine, and fish shape stays straighter imo. Ball flashers are great but not always necessary. They will definitely add more drag on the DR line and ball causing it Come up a Lil and not stay at a true 90..setbacks are Cleary dependant on the body of water, clarity, fish, and depth your fishing your riggs. Short set backs you can do tighter circles and stay on the fish, long setbacks, your making BIG circles to get back over the fish. Blades are good for kings and trout, will work on kokes, but not always. Sometimes even the kings don't want the ballflashers. Here's my best tip when using ballflashers; if your seeing fish come up to look at your ball and flashers but are not committed to striking, then it's time to take off those flashers.
