Seriously, where is a decent place to crab from shore other than Doran?
Plus anyone have any experience with a crabbing 6-pack?

+1 They can walk to the rocks and use snare.

I got two limits last weekend out of Santa cruz in about 140' off the tip of the soquel hole. From the boat. On the way out there were a bunch of pots set way inside in about 70 fow just outside the mile buoy. Might be worth a shot. I bet their in shallow too. All the crabs were just legal and one female and threw back 8 shorts.

Baker Beach! or Kirby Cove or Bonita Cove ....

If youre after dungies, dont crab off rock walls or breakers; you'll most get rock/red crabs...

I used to go to Pacifica Pier all the time, it's sandy bottom and you used to be able to kill the Dungies there.

There is a pier at Lawson's Landing.

Plus you can dive for halibuts while your pots soak.
