Has anyone ever caught anything under the docks in the Sac port?  I've cast every kind of lure/spinner/swimbait  at the docks for zero action.  I tried crawlers under a bobber today and....nothing.  What gives?

The charm of fishing is that it is the pursuit of what is elusive but attainable, a perpetual series of occasions for hope.  ~John Buchan

Care to share any methods (lures, time of day, techniques, baits)?  I've caught plenty of stripers trolling and drifting live minnows in the port so this aint my first rodeo.  It's just the docks look like they hold a ton of fish but I have found no real success there.

I use crappie jigs, med to jumbo minnows, night crawlers. All work under the docks.

I'll be fishing the P.O.S. tomorrow and Sunday all day.  I'm on a red malibu Extreme.  I'll be on channel 68 on my marine radio if anyone wants to say hello.

We use 69 in this area. Just a heads up if no one calls you back when you try reaching out.

Good luck, from all that I have heard, the port has been real tough lately.
So long and thanks for all the fish!!!

Drop shot medium minnows in and around the pilings. Cemex dock is the most productive for me, and you don't have to take bs from the security guards on the long docks.

This is one of the stripes I caught under the docks. This one came from under the first docks by the Brusco barge last February on a jumbo minnow. But over the years I have gotten my fair share of other stripes, crappie, catfish, and bass under the port docks.
