I made the cut for Chief Warrant Officer 3! Through my medical boards (3 of them), Physical board, low school seat availability, a fracking system so fracking whacked it makes congress look efficient. I finally got through the red tape and smoke and mirrors. Now I wait for the actual the Federal Recoginition Board at NGB and the orders to get cut. Retirement from the Guard just got put on hold for another 24-30 months. Jan has stood by thorugh all of this and she has earned this as much as I have!

A big congrats to you Kevin. I know you had to work hard to get that rank. As for retirement, two years plus left. It will go by fast. Been retired for twelve years now from the service and miss it. At least I have my HOW buddies here in Texas to hang with.

After 32 years (33 in June), two plus (the delay from getting selected to getting the actual orders in your hand), will be easy.
