How's the water color after these recent rains?

Thanks!

Went on fri 13th and got into the smallmouth around capell and Spanish flats. Everything was a reaction bite on shallow crankbaits and spinnerbaits. Water vis is about 2ft in the south part of the lake. Water temp from 58-60.

Thanks, man. Sounds like it needs to clear up a little more before I hit it for trout and salmon.

I was at the North end all weekend and the water was heavily stained and 57-58 degrees -- it was nice paddling around, but nary a hit all weekend. That's fishing.

Cheers

Went out saturday for no luck. Water was very murky. Was a warm day for a nice paddle though :smt003

I'm sure hoping things pic up this week and the weather stays warm!!!  I'm considering fishing the Bass-N-Tubes tournament out of Capell on Sunday and I haven't been on the lake since last spring!

I'm really hoping to get after some rainbows and landlocked kings, but I can't imagine them biting well in brown water...

Kokanee doesn't really get going until spring, huh?

Waiting for the water to settle down a bit would probably be a good idea Alex.

Alex, as far as Berry goes for the salmon and trout, it doesn't ever really seem to get started till late march.BUT...I have a filling it's gonna get started sooner this year because of the unusually warm wx we been having. Especially with 58-60 surface temps. Trust me, I've been waiting for Berry to clear up too. I would just be lil patient and wait till mid March And keep an eye on boaters reports. I will focus on fishing the Markley cove or pleasure cove area in the south arm of the lake when it I get started. Plenty of salmonoids to be had between there.
