Howdy.

I live in Berkeley and have kayak fished for more than 15 years. Fishing for halibut in the Berkeley flats and rockfish/lingcod by Fort Baker. Occasional sturgeon (fishing for them, not yet catching) in the Carquinez straits.

I prefer fishing in the salt, though there's fun fish, like this one, to be caught in local reservoirs too.

I've caught small tuna from a kayak, on a fly rod. That, and marrying my wife, are my two crowning achievements.

I've encountered sharks twice while kayak fishing, but only crapped my pants once.

I'm interested in finding others to fish with for safety purposes and for fun.
