No Worries Everyone…

We've got 7 participants. all abled bodied, local Heroes who are soon to be NCKA'ers post tomorrow …

They will be arriving around 9 with the therapists.. simple Breakfast, lunch, they, ( The Troops..)  will help us set up and put everything away…

and This would not be possible or a hell of lot more work if we did not have the trailer …

Thank you RacinRacidRob!!!!

Just want everyone to know, that this particular event, with this particular local population, with therapist there, and our Trailer so everyone does not have to take stuff home with them ( except Rob  :smt002) and I and few others hide this stuff all over the greater bay area…

and As shitty as I feel right now..

  This is still Awesome!!!!

and Thanks to all of you for making it Happen….

  Thank you….

Way to go guys and NorCal HOW! :smt003

We had a small private event a few days ago here in Texas. We took a bunch of folks who are getting trained in brain performance for veterans out to one of our private lakes we use.

a few got fish too, but a few had no clue there was a fish eating their lure and lost those.  My director George and I hit the lake again yesterday and culled about a dozen smalls while getting over 25 throw backs. Our culling efforts seem to be working since we are starting to see a lot of larger fish. Still a bit skinny but getting fatter by the year. I got a few over five pounds and so did George.

Way to go buys ! Looks like a beautiful day up there, minus the ominous plume of smoke over the ridge. Any fish caught ?

Thanks guys,  no worries, it was handled just fine, and we even had extra work as filling up the trailer with everything we have..

RacinRacidRob is the man now…  He's got a mountain of stuff to organize and he still does not have all of my stuff or Kayakjacks new kitchen stuff which BTW

was all bought with the funds raised from GS9, almost $2k worth of kitchen supplies recreating KayakJacks Kitchen so he does not have to pack and carry that stuff everywhere … going to make Jacks life easier or " Chef De Jour…" for all future events…

This is incredible everyone, we have made it…

were Ready to take Nor Cal HOW on the road with ease…

Damn… 25 bass days like brushing your teeth…  think I need to move…

BTW… has anyone been noticing the geological events in our greater coast area of North America?

Supposedly, an Epic El Nino is coming   A Volcano that has erupted off the Oregon coast and is warming the water. I talked with a guy at the event Wednesday who was just up at the tip of B.C. and caught a 225 yellow fin, not far off shore , what was it Rob, 62 degree water?  in B.C. Canada?

also, the geologist are all worried about about a Teutonic plate off the greater coast from Seattle to Northern Cali, if that goes, which they say it is probable,

good bye to the shore line from Seattle to Northern California…those Tsunami warning signs will be real…

and if we do get epic rain fall this winter, those living in Sacramento and have boats, you may want to disconnect it from the trailer and put out 70 feet of anchor line, and sleep in it during the monster storms…

Our "Contingency Plan" at Sac Fire was nothing, it was blank in the policy and procedures manual… " Is it missing,,,?" I asked…

My Captain Replies…  " Kid, when the levies go, it's going to be a disaster of biblical proportions. Do you see that Red line up on the pole outside our station? That is the high water mark for flooding in downtown Sacramento. That's 45 feet, and the high ground around here…"

I'm going through our earthquake supplies today as were directly on the Hayward Fault,,,

all these warnings of impending doom I always take with a grain of salt as they are talking on an evolutionary time scale where our life time scale is but a "blink of an eye" in the geological time scale , but

y'all should be prepared to be self sufficient for at least a week…

and a change of cloths, some food, in a garbage can and water , outside your house…

My own thread jack is Ok isn't it?
