I drop Ty of to his mom on the 17th and have a big chunk of time to spend doing whatever. I would like to work my way up the coast. I don.t know if I will make it all the way to Shelter Cove but I will do what I can. Any Ideas or takers.
Randall. PS Awarm bed and Shower every few days would be nice but camping otherwise.

Ok Guys & Dolls. Lift off looks like a go for Fri 17th. weather will be good for a couple of days thru wekend. Monday looks nasty so I will try and go to DFG meeting in Sac, Pat, Chris we need to talk. Ben, I'd like to stay mid-vally so I'm not driving back and forth, So lets figure out options.(PLAY HOOKY FROM WORK)(Sturgeon/striper?)  Bodega, Bsteves Please give a quick tips for Campjng ect.-Tuesday-wens?  Troy! Ft Ross is a must! Any chance you can get out Mid week. looks doable for weather. I'm not hip to the wind/swell data, So ANYONE please chime in!! Juan/Sean from wensday on I would like to head north from FT Ross. Any Ideas. That puts me North coast by Thurs i do not see being able to make it to Shelter cove (lifetime dream) but someday. I am open for anything and will bring  multiple ways to bag Game including Shotgun w/ loads for duck,Turkey & Pigs! ANYONE one that wants to be a Travel agent w/ Ideas PLEASE chime in! My plans are very open and willing to change. I will need to be back in the Sac area by SAt-Sun to pick Ty up. Alfredo maybe we could try and bang Salmon beginning or end of trip. I am getting that pre trip rush and have alot to get done. Randall

Randall - however much I'd love to welcome and fish with anyone who's coming this far (Shelter Cove), I think you should wait until next year unless a flat spell suddenly materializes...  It's been downright nasty up here, ocean-wise.  The furthest out I can see for swell forecast it's in the 10' range still early next week.  Check out this page for good 12 hour window-views of swell in the Pacific - this page has been very consistent.

If it does start looking do-able I'll post.  I am hoping to get a last rockfish/ling run in, but it's not looking promising...   :smt012

Randall a few us will be fishing Mendo for the Tie/Dye series. Probably too long a drive for you to hit the meeting in Sac on Monday.
You should try and get a few people together and fish the delta for stripers Disco Bay has been good. That would be cool to have 3 groups at 3 diff. areas.             Mike
