Help with photo's

please tell me how to post my photo's to gallery and the post's thanks chef.          i big sur foto's

Ok Chef here it goes.

Go to the main page http://www.ncka.org Then log in by scrolling down the page on the left hand side is a user name and password box. This is the same username and password you use in the forums

click on Photo Gallery

On the top right it will say Welcome Chef. Right under that is a little folder with a star on it. Click that to start a new album.

Now you will see a link that says "Hey add some photos" click on that

Now add the photos by clicking on the browse button and find the picture you want to upload on your computer, only 1 pic per line. If you want to add more than 5 photos change the number at the top.

Click upload now at the bottom of the page.

Depending on how many pics and how big they are the uploading screen might be on for a while. Be patient, have a beer, relax.

After they are done uploading you will see the album again with your pics in it.

You will see an admin menu on the right. Pull it down and select "rename album" and give it a good name.

To add more pics later:

Find your album on the list and click the title.

Pull down the admin menu on the right and select add photos

Follow the same directions as above

To add photos to your post:

Find the photo you want to put in your post

Click on it

Now the the photo is larger right click on the pic and select "copy image location"

In your new post window click the Img button just below the Subject line

Paste your image location

Click the Img button again, the post should look something like this:

[img]http://www.norcalkayakanglers.com/albums/album01/DSCN0735.jpg[/img]

You can keep doing that for all the photos you want to add.

Hopefully you can follow that. I am not always the best at giving typed instructions. Let me know if you need any help.

I had the same problem, but I got it now.  Go to the home page www.ncka.org.  Then log in by scrolling down the page on the left hand side is a user name and password box.

Then just follow Bill's instructions.
