Quarry Lakes in Fremont 11-14-06

Got on the water at 8:30am.  Frankfishing and Raymac were already on the water. Frank was trolling and had nothing.  Don't know how Ray was doing he was on the backside of the lake.

Met Frank at the swimarea and we anchored to soak some power bait.  Frank had a hit and that was it until noon.  I got a little trout and then around 1:30pm.  We decide to beach the Yaks and I went to Chubby Burgers.  Ray was at the ramp loading up his boat.  I took some pictures of his baby.  He got a watch that controls his trolling motor.  I know Ray got about 3 trout and a few Smallmouths.  I sure he will post later.

After, lunch Frank and I start to troll.  Around 4pm Frank had to leave and I went back to the swimarea.  I was just about to cast my second rod and the first one was taking off.  I fish will the reel in freespool and let the trout run.  Another little guy 12".  But, Todd the ranger at the check station said they taste better that the big ones.  They do have a little pink to them and are from Idaho.

Left at 4:45pm and sorry Frank.  But forgot about the money in the tailpipe.  I guess we made someone day.

One little tip for you trout fisherman.  To clean the Do Do bloodline.  Cut it with a knife and spoon it out.  Then take an old toothbrush to get the little bit around the backbone near the end of the stomach.  If you don't have an old toothbrush.  Just use your wife.  But, remember to put it back.

Let me add.  Frankfishing still has not had blood on his decks ( His deck are red..so I don't think you coudl see the blood..maybe just the green power bait)......I think you got the "Catch & Released" down pat.  Frank!!! I just like when I go Duck Hunting and scare all the ducks off the pond.  Can you spell "Greenpeace".

Fished with ken and frank at the Quarry Trolled up 2 small Idaho rainbows  and 2 small mouths.C/R caught trout on gold and silver needlefish.Hooked smallmouths on my inline spinner nightcrawler combow 30+ ft deep.Ken thanks for the pictures of my baby.You Kayak guys are a pleasure to fish with.
