11/11/06 cannery row, spearfishing report posted but wanted to share info here

i dove along cannery row and there was lots of fish out. mainly rf but lots of big perch and lots of baitfish all over. the fish are eating them up. it was a bird parking lot as i rounded the breakwater point.

on another note, as i paddled back in around 11am i saw a freshly bitten seal with a bite near his rump with fresh blood and fat all showing real clearly. the sharks are out i think.

lots of bait though and lots of rf out.
