For all you crate fanatics out there the Hobie H-Crate is now available. It has the H-Rail system around the top for use with any of the accessories and 4 rod holders with keepers (1 in each corner of the crate). I'm going to be getting one and I'll give you guys a review.

Looks interesting.  The base crate looks to sell for $130.

Ya the crate alone is $130 and then extra for the tackle bin, cup holder, or ram balls. I think the rod holders in the corners look pretty slick.

If that was in a kayak and the kayak flipped over, everything would be gone that didn't float.  Hope it comes with a locking lid.
So long and thanks for all the fish!!!

Looks like a yard sale enabler to me.   Hobie makes great stuff but I see no reason to have one of these.

Group IQ is inversely proportional to the size of the group.

A Steelhead always knows where he is going, but a Man seldom does.

The yak attacks, and the feelfree crates/crate bags look pretty nice too.   They both have lids.

Hmm... That thing looks nifty, but it also looks like it would break if you look at it wrong.

I'll stick to my bomb proof milk crates. :)

I tried a crate for a while and found it it to be too cumbersome.  that thing would only enable me to carry to much stuff.
