Looking to take my boys out to do some tide pooling and poke poling this weekend.  Anyone know a good place that has both decent mussel beds and poke-poling in the area?

TIA bros!

Shell Beach but watch out for sneakers go South past the creek for Mussels only at low tide
Group IQ is inversely proportional to the size of the group.

A Steelhead always knows where he is going, but a Man seldom does.

Mainly for my 6 yr old. I have a 2 yr old as well, but he will stay closer to shore.

Shell beach just north of Bodega, I haven't been there in years but that beach does have what you're looking for, looks like small surf, 3-4 ft and a minus tide in the afternoon ought to be about perfect conditions for what you want, heck of a hike down from the parking lot, pit toilets at the top,

Have fun. Lots of critters under the rocks in the tidal areas.

Thanks! If I don't get any better suggestions, then that is likely where we will end up.  Should be a fun outing.  My wife is gonna keep the little one at home, so it will be a 3 generation trip instead ( My dad, myself, and my eldest son)
