Wind’ wind’ wind’ and more wind’ late start today thanks to paradise
Park being closed from 10-16-06 to 01-02-07 funny how they did not post
This fact on their website ASSHOLES!!!
 :smt013

SO we spent the day anchored next to the big island in front of lochloman
Marina where the wind could not get at us it was the south east tip that
Faces the brothers lighthouse this is a good spot fast current lots of big fish on the
Sonar but no big hits just a big leopard and bat ray. I got the shark & frank
Got the ray which broke his Fenwick damn and on his BDAY ouch. :smt010

The paddle home to the launch spot which is next to the rod and gun you know
The one' the wind was in our face all the way back it was hell 30mph
With 3to4 foot swells not fun but it was better than work any day.
Will do this spot again for sure.

Oh maybe you can get frank to tell his side story
On the broken pole

Happy Birthday Frank,

Sorry about the rod...gives your family some more options for next Father's Day.

Hope I can hook up with you sometime soon for some fishing fun.

Just relaxing from a great dinner the wife put togeather. Ice cream and home made pineapple upside down  cake, my favorite. Then the best of all the birthday gift a water proof Olympus 720 SW.... I think they know me.
Thanks everyone for the BD wishes.
Oh yeah on the broken rod, oh well that's fishing.  It was fun when I cut loose of my anchor and enjoyed the sleigh ride. After a few yards I kind of figured it was a large ray by the tow and no head shake. I think Duane and Phil where thinking I was heading to the GG by the way this Bat Ray was towing me. Must admit I had a very large smile on my face during the tow.
You know 55 ain't no big thang! Frankfishing

Sounds like a fun ride.  Even though you had a smile on your face  :smt003 You can sure bet that the Ray wasn't smiling!  :smt013

The Drag was loose but I tightened it when I was trying to release him. Snap when he got a look at the BD boy and ran like hell. My wife says I have that effect on people too.

Happy B-Day,

Hey, we don't get older.  We just look for younger chicks.  (I talking about Chickens-for all the female people on this forum.)  Frank and I are old chicken ranch farmers. Frank, hope your wife does not visit this site.
