Didn't rain today after week of wet weather, figured the fish were hungry, Sac River is still muddy so hit up the private lake where I live, OTW at 2:00 back home at 4:30 pretty much non-stop every cast, landed about 30 fish all released, - (5 LMB, a few red ear sunfish and several crappie).

Good day, nice to be on the water, located the suspended fish, dropped a nightcrawler on their nose and they couldn't resist, not aggressive bites, sometimes it was difficult to detect any movement, just waited them out until they realized they were hooked.

Sounds fun, didn't know Lake Cal. had crappie...
Remember to practice safe knots, because big fish don't just break your line, they also break your heart.
