Fred and I took our kids fishing to a local pond in Campbell (annual kids fishing day).  It was pretty insane.  The crowd that is.  Reminded me of steelhead fishing on the Klamath.
For about 3 hrs of fishing, 3 kids landed 3 trout (1 each) and were happy as could be.  However, we were both a little dissapointed with the lack of fish.
Aside from feeding some Canada geese, the highlight of the trip was a big ol bullfrog that your truly snuck up and netted.  All the kids around were freaked out by this big green monster.  After the oohs and ahhs, and about an hour of false inprisonment, the kids finally let Jeremiah free.

Next time they stock Blue Lakes I will let you know.  GREAT kiddie-fishing and cute cabins to make it a weekend, zero crowds.
