Sure would love to but that damn 4-letter word keeps getting in the way:  WORK.
Fished Jones Valley last Sunday and did good, lots of spots, a few smallies and a nice crappie.  Haven't heard of any Trinity reports.
Me & Bryan will be hitting Bonnyview for Thanksgiving sunrise/coffee again this year if anyone cares to join though.

Yeah we'll launch bonnyview about 630am, peddle upstream to the bend and do a few drifts.  Quick and simple, just chill and be thankful to be on the water, and be home by 8 or so.

Wish I could join you but lots of family in town, they dropped the flow again today on Sac river, I have been having a hard time finding the fish, down to 3800 cfs

Did you make it out Tim? I've been plagued with a real cool bout of strep throat for the last week.

Sorry to hear that, what are you doing up at 04:42am ? , yeah I went out, late start, launched at Jones Valley and went up to Clikipudi cove, could not get any minnows so I threw plastics for about 15 spots or so, all small, only about 3 or 4 just legal, great weather though, glass all day.

I won't be trying to troll into Clikipudi cove anymore, this pic. is what it looks like now...

Is 4:30 too early to be up these days?  :smt001
Plus I have to take penicillin at 6am

Any fish on the surface?  Last time I was fishing JV I was averaging smaller fish too. I think it might be better to powerboat up to where the water is coming in. We were catching bigger fish on the main body until March last year.

just a few on top, I never really tried for them, visibility was only about 1 foot.
