Piscean artworks show scheduled for November 4th

It's official now! I'm having a small gallery show during November and December, featuring at least 12 all new pieces. Show will be at the White Raven Coffeehouse on hwy 9 in Felton. There will be an opening party on the afternoon of November 4th with snacks provided (but you gotta buy your own coffee).
My artwork is Pacific Northwest tribal style influenced, and I mostly use wooden panels with a combination of carving and painting. This time I tried some new things too, so come & check it out. All my designs are original, and are generally ocean/ fishing inspired. For this show I have created several traditional pieces, some polynesian inspired pieces, and some inspired by a recent trip to Costa Rica. I even decorated an old surfboard for it.
This is my first show since 2003, and it should be a good one. Come by & check it out. If you have questions or need directions, you can email me at [email protected].

Excellent.  What time is the opening party?

I like what I see and do need some new art now that we are winding down on the remodeling.  How long will the show last after the opening?  I work in Santa Cruz and might find it hard to give up a weekend day but would like to see your work.

Thanks! The show will open at the White Raven coffeehouse in Felton on November 4th. I'll probably be there starting about 3pm or so. There will be 12 wood pieces plus a surfboard on display. There will be some snacks provided, and possibly a tribal bellydance too (not by me). The show will run November through December, and may stretch into January if the Raven needs it, so if you can't make it to the opening you'll have plenty of time to catch the show before I pull it down. Larry & Kathryn McNeil are the owners of the White Raven, and were my neighbors for the first 5 years I lived in Bonny Doon. They're my close friends and I'm totally stoked to be able to show my work at their shop.
It should be a fun afternoon, so come by, have a coffee & check it out.

We have one of Sean's pieces, the halibut.  I owe my new found halibut mojo to that artwork!

Here's the flyer for the show. I'll have a couple of fishing related pieces, a triptych of rockfish pieces, and a couple of polynesian pieces. There will also be a hand decorated surfboard, a large traditional screen piece, and several local fish pieces (cabbie, sturgeon). The one on the flyer is a piece based on a tahitian legend, Daquwaka and the Kadavu reef god. Hope to see some of you there,

OK I swear this is the final bump for this.
 Saturday afternoon, 3-6pm at the White raven coffeehouse in Felton, 6253 highway 9. I've added a new piece based on a traditional Maori moko pattern with abalone inlays from the beach at Davenport. Have a great halloween!
