Ocean cove is hard to beat. Just be sure to check the conditions.

Hey John, I kayak fish Tomales Bay often in the summer months when the tides are small for Halibut . As for winter I have never tried to kayak fish there although an old friend of mine would catch Striped Bass in the back of the bay near Millerton Point and an occasional White Sturgeon .The Fall for Stripers/Winter-Spring for Sturgeon. Easy launching from Miller Park puts you right in front of Hogs Island and a nice free launch across the HWY1 from the Marconi Center which puts you just south of the town of Marshall . I prefer Hogs Island area for Halibut . Good Luck and give us a good report :smt003
