Headed out from San Jose to Van Damme with JTFishing at 4:30 AM.
Arrived at 9:30 ish to overcast conditions and a fairly empty parking lot.
Suited up and entered the water at 10:05 AM. Vis was better than I expected it to be with at least a hazy 10ft.

Took our time and enjoyed the dive. It started to get pretty choppy after a while and I must have swallowed more than a dozen mouths full of saltwater during the 4-1/2 hours that we were out there. Talk about heartburn  :smt009

Ended the day with a decent limit of fat 8-1/2 inchers....nothing to brag about but it was sure fun searching for them. Also found this big ass uni definitely a PB it was the size of a small kick ball  :smt007

Sad to say I'm done for the season with my 18 ab limit   :smt010
Time to start shooting some fish  :smt001
Thanks John for accompanying me on my last trip of the season  :smt006

Nice work Antonio!

I've got 5 tags left still...don't think I'm gonna get to fill my card this year, even with the limit reduced from 24 to 18... :smt012

Oh well....

Thanks for the pics and report!
