Van Damme Dive Report 11-11

Headed out from San Jose to Van Damme with JTFishing at 4:30 AM.
Arrived at 9:30 ish to overcast conditions and a fairly empty parking lot.
Suited up and entered the water at 10:05 AM. Vis was better than I expected it to be with at least a hazy 10ft.

Took our time and enjoyed the dive. It started to get pretty choppy after a while and I must have swallowed more than a dozen mouths full of saltwater during the 4-1/2 hours that we were out there. Talk about heartburn 

Ended the day with a decent limit of fat 8-1/2 inchers....nothing to brag about but it was sure fun searching for them. Also found this big ass uni definitely a PB it was the size of a small kick ball 

Sad to say I'm done for the season with my 18 ab limit   
Time to start shooting some fish

Stopped at Anderson Valley Brewery on the way home and filled my growler with Heelch O' Hops double IPA 

Will probably need help drinking it buddy

Great job. TC actually flattened out a bit. Had 15-20 foot viz.

Man that UNI is HUGE!!! More like a DOSI!

The picture doesn't do that sea urchin justice. That thing was freaking fat! 
I will be getting sea urchin from now on. Uni pasta is GOOD!
