Sudmuckers report:

Breakers were 1/2 mile out and they were 10 feet tall.  :smt009

The actual report:

Breakers were 1/4 mile out and were about 3-4 feet tall.  Ed only got two bites but unfortunately for him it was kelp both times.  I got a couple of bites but all I ended up with was a bare hook.  I think that I was just trying to feed the fish instead of catching them.  Don't know what I was doing wrong.

Not much to report unfortunately.  :smt011

Don't feel alone. Scott Thornley and I fished HMB last Friday (10/20) and other than a few tiny Rockfish, he got one okay-sized on and I got a barely-legal Cabezon. Not much to show for the effort. we didn't even think a report was worth the trouble it was so bad.

if you had reported then others would know to take a miss on it.

I think reports of failure are almost as valuable as reports of success.

Yes. You are right. We should have. I did the double-header by going tothe Forebay and put my time into reporting on that instead.
