Frozen Uni

So in November I did around three ab trips in about 10 days. During those dives I came back with a few uni as well.

I decided to vacuum seal some to see how they would turn out.

So after 2 plus months of being frozen I'm happy to say that it was definitely worth doing so.

Cooked some up the other night with some prawns and pasta.

Great minds think alike!  I did the exact same thing.  Unfortunately, my mom left the freezer cracked open, and I lost it along with half the other stuff in there.  Good to know that they are still edible after freezing.  How is the texture?

I used a hand wand blender to make the sauce so not sure how each individual section was as far as texture.

I've tried uni in a sushi restaurant and I'd rather eat anything you can find on your front lawn.

Was talking to JTFishing about uni yesterday and it reminded me that I still had some in the freezer. So I took some out to thaw for lunch....yummy 

No wonder you have to work out.
