Started at the Cosumnes river Preserve and paddled upriver and hour or so.
62 and windy but the trees provided enough of a wind break to make it T shirt weather.  Very low tide late morning but it really came in and rose fast starting at noon. Late afternoon they really started biting. Nothing big but it was fun.  I did see a lot of the big fish jumping but no luck catching. between 2-3pm I was getting a fish every 4-5 casts on a rubber worm. I only fish catch and realease.

Was out there with my brother in law as well (2 OK yellow prowlers).  Quite a few yaks enjoying the nice weather. We tried jigging for salmon for naught. Needed to get the stink off so we enjoyed the remainder of our time bass fishing.

I've gotta get out there. What a fun looking place to just explore and toss lures. Thanks for the report !
