In sitting at my my house in the east coast, and trying to make a deal on a 2007 Hobie adventure island if in good shape what do you think is a good buying price?

I realize it has the cams, not click and go but what would be the right price for you to buy it?

Upgrades included are :
Large sailing rudder
Rudder up and down controls
Newest seat pins
Newest rudder pins
Drive upgrades with V2 sprockets, masts and turbo fins
Scotty rod mounts
Harken cleats for outhaul (barber hauler) lines

Depends on how it was stored, how scratched up it is and how brittle the hull may be.
In '09 I missed a deal on an '07 by 15 minutes and the price then was $1500.

Yeah well I'll stand firm at my offer of 1250. That's a steal IMO,

The one in FL?  Seems like even at asking price given the upgrades, it's worth it.  How far of a drive is it for you?

Clean looking boat for $1600. @ $1500 that would be a very good deal. Good luck.

Only 1.5 hour drive for me. I gave him my best offer of 1300. It will just sit at my house in FL and not get much use. For that price it's worth the buy. I would jump on it but just not a fan of the cam lock mirage well. I tend to put stress on that area when I peddle hard, so I  prefer the click n go. I'll keep my eves open and maybe even pick one up when I return to norcal in  a couple weeks.

my 2 cents. SOmething sitting FL sun for seven years, it has to take its tol on the roto mold plastic.  Hobie uses a good grade of plastic but nothing is invincible.  Price IMHO seems kind of high

As long as it stored correctly Indoors out of the sun it shouldnt be a problem. Found out today The guy had a better offer then mine so looks like its a nogo. I'll keep my eyes open for one down the road. I get back to CA in a couple weeks so I would prefer to buy one there. I'll get more use out of itin CA,  then just have the movers haul it when I move back to Florida in a couple years,
