colorado river fishing tips

going to float and fish the grand canyon next week for 19 days wohooo!!
any tips? what lures to bring...
its mostly trout,and bass so bringing light tackle
bringing my standard go to freshwater lures :castmasters, panther martins, mepps,spoons, and rapala countdowns..anything else?
heard there are stripers down lower...
will be rowing 250 miles so limited to fishing in the slower parts of the river, side creeks and at camp.
Putting in at Lees Ferry and taking out right before lake Mead

The stripers in Powell were hitting white clouser flies using a clear bobber.  Might work for the river too.

I lived in Henderson NV for a year and had some excellent striper fishing in lake Mead but that was in the 90's. I assume it still has some good fishing.worth looking into!!
