Here's a good recipe for clam chowder. Tried it out the other day, and it was delicious.

Also, it's a very funny read.

Do it! It really wasn't that difficult.

We opted for one pint of heavy cream, plus about a pint of whole milk instead of a full quart of cream. It was plenty rich and creamy that way.

Or if you're lazy like me just buy a couple BIG cans of NE clam chowder from Costco or WW and heat them up  :smt005

just made some last week....basically the same recepie as mine
-but i boiled a ling cod head I caught at simply fishing with sea salt and used the stock,
-and picked out all the meat and threw that in also at the last minute
-roasted some bell peppers, peeled them , diced them up
-i diced up the potatoes and sautee them in lotsa butter w onions, garlic, celery.
then add the rue and cream.... if lazy throw in a can of mushroom soup instead
-then add stock, clams
-at the end i also added a box of fozen new zeland mussels in the half shell (seafood city)
-was really yummy and a good use for those ling heads everyone throws away!

Practically the same recipe my wife uses except she pours a little amount of white wine in the mix.
