I was surfing 'diamond mines'  aka 'the dunes', not fishing but here's some intel.

anyways, water is red and sandy but the beach was lined with surf perchers and
I spoke to one he found a great hole and had a pile of good sized males (I think),
claimed to have 3 3lbers that made him think he had a striper on for a few minutes.

Well, I guess it is a good thing when there are more fun things than I can do in a day,
but sometimes I wish I could clone myself and do it all.

good! sunny, warm air, waves not too big, not too small, light wind, no crowd, one good friend.
no complaints here!

The last of my frozen fish went friday, still have some smoked.  might have to try to fish
next weekend!
