Anybody interested in a mid morning rockfish/ling trip and perhaps a quick ab dive up at Van Damme?  The swell is large today, but predicted to be managable (5 to 6 ft) on Sunday, coming back up on Monday.  Wind should also be okay Sunday with 5 to 15 predicted.  Low tide around 10:00 with very little movement before that.  I plan to get up there around 9:00 AM or so to fish the incoming tide, leaving Windsor around 7:00.

Hey Norm,  I'm bringing some semi-newbies out on sunday either at Van Damme or Caspar, depending on conditions.  We're going out at the same time period, so hopefully we'll see you out there.  If it's at all dicey, we'll go out at caspar.  I won't be diving as my card is pretty well filled out.

Anytime you're up in the area, give me a ring.  I'm always looking for folks to paddle out with.  K-fishers are still few and far between up here.

Hey Dave,

Sounds good, hope to see you there.  The swell and wind report seem to be holding at the okay level, so I will be up in the Van Damme parking lot around 9:00, white F-150 with a shell.  I know what you mean about the lack of K-fishers up there, I still tend to draw a croud of curious beach walkers that can't believe I go fishing in my "little boat" whenever I am up there.  I like the area for diving and fishing, bigger fish and clearer water in general than Sonoma coast areas.  Worth the extra 45 minutes of road time.

I'll give you a ring for sure next time I head up, i hope to do at least one more trip after this one before ling season is over.
