Digging this thread back up, weather has cooled down. Once hunting season settles down would be good time for a weekend ride and chill maybe Nov sometime. Any interest?

My guess is you wouldn't be slowing me down. Nov is usually a good time as hunting season settles, the weather cools, and hopefully a little rain cuts the dust and increases traction. Maybe mendo nat forest?  Kind of I between the bay and humboldt with lots of great riding (I'm told). Open to ideas though. I know there's plenty of folks that ride.  :beer2

I've raced the D-36 enduros at Cow, Middlecreek/West Mendo forest, & Stonyford/East Mendo forest.

Cow & Stony have some more difficult technical trails. Art, you will be begging for mercy.  :smt044

Middlecreek is the easiest trails but can still be challenging depending on how neglected & weather worn the trails get. It's usually cooler here cause there's more trees. Better camping than Cow too.  If Art is gonna show I will come to collect the video & photographic evidence.  :smt003

Foresthill is a fun place to ride, camp, and shoot, but it's a haul.

Second the Stonyford recommendation, not in the summer!

I'm too old for that now.

I'm in! I love to ride and am just getting ready to load the bikes for a trip to Baja.
Maybe when i get back and it cools down or rains it would be alright,no dust, better traction etc.
Lets stay on it and do this. Just a tip...
