Hey Duane,

Sudmucker and I were thinking of going to the rockwall. What's the best way to get there?  We haven't been there yet.  I know that he'll want to go now expecially since Hallie's are being caught, he's been having great luck when he goes out lately.  :smt003

Duane, good to see you when we were netting bait.  Its funny because the BH rockfish liked the shiners more than the smelt.  I should note that your smelt were much larger than mine.  If we do this again I should trade my large smelt for your shiners.

Frankfishing, if I net bait again I'll send you an invite although Duane is the expert and he prides himself as the "master baiter".  I learned the ropes from Eugene (Paddlefish).  I'm not going out again in the near future due to work but you never know when plans will change.  By the way, if you go with me you'll be helping me toss back the small ones.

Mary/Ed, the Alameda Rockwall is good fun.  You launch from a public ramp (no fees), there's bathrooms at the launch, its inside the bay so there's mild to no swells AND for us east bay folks, its in our backyard.  However, it does get windy so you have to watch the weather reports.  If you do a search you can get directions.  Location wise, its right behind Encinal High School.
