Thanks, yall. Been  bass fishin here for a few years out of a little pelican boat, now i gotta switch to a kayak so i can go solo if need be. Cant wait to post pics of my southern  adventures though. Make yall norcal yakkers get that inshore buzz. Thanks for the welcome.

I was born in NOLA and all my family is still back there...make it home once or twice a year.

Nah, I usually just go hang with the family...sometimes we go out with a guy we know who runs a charter out of MS for some inshore fun, but usually home for Thanksgiving or Christmas so often just spending time at home rather than on the water...

Here are a couple reports of some inshore fun over there in the past few years...used to run offshore when I was younger and fish the rigs but haven't been out there in a long time...

Thats cool, Jim. I try to see a game and hit the water as often as possible when i go down there.  I cant wait to try to get a kayak down  there...
