The Day …

Been bummed all day, the 343, the 3000 innocent lives taken, the families and the thousands that still suffer from the effects of breathing all those nasty carcinogens that are now slowly dying because a fundamentalist philosophy that hates….

 wish we could kill Bin Laden Again…

I've got a small Flag that I put on the inside of my truck windshield the day after 9/11,  switched it to my new ride and still going strong 13 years later…

  Never Forget….   

As I am reminded of that day I was in theater and all hell broke loose as our world changed. I will never forget. I had to grow up even more that day and use all my 24 years of military experience and plan for the invasion of Afghanistan. Lost a lot of sleep, attended lots of briefings and gave a lot of power points and made tons of phone calls. We got it done in less than a month. Executed it and was glad it worked.

America hopefully will never forget and we need to tell the generations after us and tell them right; that we were attacked, bottom line. Now once again we are being threatened and need to rid this earth of a cancer and I sure hope we have the right people in charge to make it happen. We did before but now I question it.

The company I work for lost over 100 people in the WTC and spent months trying to recover data and systems.  DR is a big deal now.

Unfortunately, this administration seems to be on the wrong side.  My suspicion is ISIS is our creation and as long as they continue to fight Assad we will be gentle.  They will slowly rebrand to "moderates".

9-11 is my B-day...and I was in N.Y that day....unreal...surreal......not a plane in the sky for weeks after...clear , cold, blue,  fall skies on the east coast...not a single contrail.....unreal

seems we are no closer now than we were then , to stopping this,maybe getting worse really imo

On 9-11 it was my first day of a house rental on Moonstone drive. My wife's parents were in the mountains above Santa Cruse. My Mom Called and told us about tower one We turned on the T.V. And saw the second plane crash into tower two. Nancy's Brother was going to work in the Pentagon And walking into the door when the plane struck there. in the area of his office. They took them into a bunker with Chaney and others for quite awhile. Nancy's Parents came to where we were. And spent most of the week watching T.V. I think we got news Don was ok in about 2 days. I think he was a single star ADM at the time. I hope the political stuff on this post stops. I'd love to make a point. But won't. Too much MSNBC here LOL.
