FYI: I was surprised to find my thread on The Fish Sniffer board collecting how-to’s for river salmon fishing caught the eye of the moderator.  It has been “elevated” to a semi-permanent topic “Salmon 101 or How to fish like dwest” on the salmon-steelhead board:

http://www.fishsniffer.com/cgi-bin/forumsyabb/YaBB.pl?num=1160604586

Pros: I am flattered, and other newbies and veterans have one stop shopping to learn and share river salmon fishing stuff.

Not-so-pros: I have lost control of the work-in-progress, and the title may imply I know what I am doing instead of being just an eager student of the game.

On balance: As Martha Stewart would say, it’s a good thing.

Visit, comment, contribute, some time.

Thanks
